Which regional service cooperative do I belong to?
Why participate in the Cooperative Purchasing Connection?
The Cooperative Purchasing Connection is a member driven program. The more support and volume our contracted vendors see from members, the greater discounts they offer.
How do I order from contracted vendors?
Ordering from our contracted vendors is easy! You deal directly with the vendor, as you would normally. Contact information for the vendors is found in the For Members section of this website.
Do I need to include anything on my purchase order to receive the discounted price?
Sometimes. Our contracted vendors are aware that you are a member of the Cooperative Purchasing Connection. However, there are some vendors that require a particular quote number or special identification on your purchase order. If identification is required, it is noted on the vendor page in the For Members section of this website.
How does buying from the contracted vendors meet competitive bidding requirements?
Purchasing from contracts established through a formal bid meets the requirements of the Uniform Municipal Contracting Law (MS 471.345) because our requests for proposals and requests for bids are done in accordance with purchasing procedures mandated by state procurement laws and regulations. Contracts established through a negotiated agreement are called Preferred Vendor Agreements and do not meet competitive bidding requirements. The type of contract is listed on each of the vendor pages.
